Thanksgiving Menu 2016

All pies are completely scratch-made from the crust to the filling. We use only fresh fruit and a artisanal methods.  Our all-butter crusts bake to a deep golden brown.

Baked Vanilla Custard Pie Traditional rich, deep dish, silky vanilla bean custard in a flaky shell.  9” deep dish pie serves 6-9  $19.50

{Double Apple & Pecan Cake}  our pastry chef’s favorite:  two layers of our rich double apple cake baked w/toasted pecans & sautéed apple compote, sandwiched & drizzled w/ brown sugar-brandy sauce & drageéd  pecans. Not the prettiest dessert, but it’s real tasty- it’s also great for breakfast! 8” round, serves 9-10  $35 (PS: Yes, it has brandy in it and NO we can’t take it out! And NO, it’s not overwhelming)

Cazuela Pie (CAZ-WAY-LA) (It has a cult following) Like a pumpkin pie only with a Cuban twist! Smooth pumpkin and sweet potato filling with a hint of coconut milk & a little ginger $19.50

Apple Custard Crumble Pie Baked vanilla custard atop sautéed tart apples (lightly spiced with cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger) topped with an oatmeal cookie crumble. 9” pie serves 6-9, $23.00

Naked Pumpkin Salted Caramel Torte pumpkin cake layers, cream cheese filling and a thin skim coat of vanilla buttercream frosting.  Salted caramel drizzle, pumpkin seed brittle topping 7” round serves 12-14  $42.00

9” Classic Deep Dish Pies: hand-rolled, butter crust, filled with a hugely generous portion of scratch made filling.  Baked to a European-Style deep golden brown. Serves 6-9

We are located about 20 min from New Bedford, 15 minutes from the Carver/Rochester Border, and 20 min from the Bourne Bridge.
We have a sign at the street and a parking area down the driveway.
From Route I-195: Take exit 20 and turn left onto Route 105 North.  Follow Route 105 North for 1.8 miles then turn right onto Walnut Plain Road.  We are 1.2 miles on the left at 265 Walnut Plain Road.
From Route 58-MA:  Follow Route 58 towards Rochester.  Route 58 ends and continue straight onto County Road.  Follow County Road for 1.5 miles then turn right onto High Street.  Follow High Street for 2.6 miles then bear left onto Walnut Plain Road.  We are 1.4 miles on the right at 265 Walnut Plain Road.
